Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.

The business lists hours on 4 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–4 pm. It is closed on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Bethlehem is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Bethlehem is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I felt compelled to leave a review because I’ve seen some of the negative feedback, and our experience has been completely different. Dr. Sheena has been absolutely amazing with my daughter. She recently had fillings done, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. My daughter actually loves Dr. Sheena from when we knew her at my previous job, so she felt completely comfortable going in β€” which says a lot when it comes to dental work. Dr. Sheena is kind, professional, and very focused on what she’s doing. I’ve seen some reviews mentioning that she asks kids to keep their hands down or that parents aren’t always brought back to the operating room. Personally, I see that as her maintaining a safe, controlled environment so she can focus and do the best possible job. During a procedure like fillings, that level of focus and structure is important. As a parent, I appreciated how smoothly everything went and how well my daughter was cared for. We had a great experience and would absolutely recommend Dr. Sheena, especially for anyone looking for someone skilled and confident with kids.
